Strange Days

I can't help but feeling that my life takes turns for the distinctly odd at times. Last night I went to a leaving party for an acquaintance who is moving out of the area. I met her through a friend and haven't ever really spoken to her. Last night she was exceptionally friendly, kept flirting outrageously and at the end of the night gave me her number.
All well and good, you might say.
The problem being, she's gay, and is moving in with her girlfriend of several years. And today she's been emailing me about meeting up this weekend, and sent me all manner of contact details, telling me how if she was straight I would be her type, etc, etc. I know she's been having problems with her partner, and I feel concerned. If she is interested in me (BIG 'if') what does she want? I am at the point in my life where I either want to have lots of fun, or settle down with Madame Right. One of the two. Is this a hetero fling, or is she interested, or am I reading far too much into this.
(It should be said that while I was typing this I mistyped one word which made it read her name. I'm not sure what all that was about.)
I thought everything was simple, then this happened.
