(no subject)

Wow, the last few days have been really good, I can't helpjust feeling so self aware that my life is primarily making me happy at the moment. It's enough to make me feel quite guilty that there are people telling me about the bad times that they're encountering at the moment.
The party last night was great, I'd like to thank both scylla and drpyrojames for the excellent company, spread and music, and for letting me embarrass myself on the wonderful, wonderful piano. I must also remember in future that people want to listen to the soundtrack of RHPS, not me bawling over the top of it.
Getting up in time to watch the Spurs match provided with further positivism to the weekend,( Run! He's talking about football! )

And this afternoon surje, davefish and I went to see "The Last Samurai", a film which we all enjoyed, but didn't deliver as much as it could have done. However, it also did the right thing in many places where it could have fallen into Hollywood Schmaltz mode, so it should be applauded for that.
That brings me up to the present time, and to avoid providing a very dull stream of consciousness whereby I dictate purely the now, I will go away and do something productive. Hmm. Samurai. (Gets out Bokken).
