Climactic Ending...

OK, it's been a very pleasant evening, went to the gay night at the Junction Nightclub, did a bit of dancing and muchos socialising. I stroll home in the fresh morning air, briskly stopping off at the Grill House for some late night edibles.
All is good with the world as I follow Mill Road to my house. When I am less than a hundred yards from the turning to my house I hear a plaintive drunken cry in the near distance.
