Apr. 16th, 2004 12:30 amI've just got up. Which is a singularly odd experience, but I had to get in that extra little block of sleep due to the fact that I didn't go to bed last night at all. I went to see Kill Bill Vol.2 at midnight last night (the advantage of being good friends with the Warner Bros' projectionist), which is excellent, padding out the plot of the first film with no lack of pace, I can't wait to see the release of Tarantino's original run, with both films edited together.

temlekin (I wouldn't bother checking, Che'll never actually write anything in it!) and I decided a trip to Asda was in order, where we bought copious sandwiches and biscuits and had a little picnic by the tills, much to the amusement of the night staff. We also introduced our German friend Eva to the wonders of Custard. After that we went back to Eva's where we watched films until I had to go to work, with the grim realisation that watching Donnie Darko at 6am when you haven't been to bed is a Really Bad Idea(TM).
On a more serious note, I've received a bit of LJ anonymity which has rather upset me, here. I'm not sure what to make of it. When I wrote the offending meme answer I was referring to the fact that I have very little self confidence and am totally terrified that people will realise that I'm actually not cool and unflappable, and that I'm actually a scared little boy with a big mask on. And someone who obviously knows this decided to really hit me hard by being anonymous and cryptic. I don't know whether they were intentionally intending to be cruel or not, but it worked.
