Incidentally, everyone should know about this.

I'm not normally in favour of demonstrations, generally I feel that they piss off the people trying to get to or from work and find the roads blocked off more than they do the people they're protesting against. However this is a coming together of people of many different types, of a single mind, against something previously thought of as immutable and unstoppable.

This is truly what the internet is FOR. People can make change through it, using it, and I think it's a glorious thing to be around for. This generation will always be known as the internet generation, but wouldn't it be great if it was for something more than bitching about file-sharing?

As raggedy_man so rightly said, everyone can do their part, even if it's just to post something like this, to say "This is something good". And if you need any more persuasion, watch This.
