Slept at last
Jan. 18th, 2004 03:15 pmWell the last few days have certainly been eventful. I've not slept since thursday at about midday, and have just woken up after a marathon post-gig sleep fest.
The whole week's been pretty exciting, actually. I seem to have done so much in a short time that it seems amazing to think that the year is still less than three weeks old.
In the last few weeks I've met a lot of new people, noting especially the wonderful, stunning women who I have met, making my Mojavian singleness all the more bearable. I've also gained new appreciation of my friends recently, especially
surje for travelling almost to the end of the earth to pick me up from a godforsaken little village and whisking me off to
robinbloke's party. Also
poetman, who I miss dearly, but I'm delighted to hear is having a great time out in the US. (I just hope you're going to come back!)
So, everything seems to be going swimmingly at the moment, I only hope that my natural pessismism that something's bound to go wrong soon is incorrect.
