Yay!

I have finally decided after much procrastination that I am to get off of my fat arse and strive to leave my current job. Joyful as the last few years has been, stagnating as a corporate whore in retail middle management is not for me.
I have just emailed off my application to work as a technician in an electrochemical biosensor laboratory. My work will primarily involve the development of sensors which can be used to examine analytes including glucose, ATP, cholesterol and the hepatitis B surface antigen and ensuring that the systems function with enough regularity to ensure reproducibility. All sounds good, keep fingers crossed.
