To everyone who wished me a happy birthday. It's not something that I usually choose to advertise, bt once it's out I'm more than happy to be wished so.
I spent most of the day today getting a new tattoo and the rest of the day in the pub with good friends, including said tattoo artist who as well as performing some awesome artwork on me also provided me with many Snakebite and Blacks.
For those who are interested, yes, the chest is the most painful place to get a tattoo. It was fucking agony pretty much from start to finish, but here's the finished result (finished for today, that is, it still needs another session of shading and probably an hour or two for colour):
